Endorsements for God Storys

I prefer endorsements by the “un-famous”... sweet friends, real people who actually know me. — Victorya

Although God works in each of our lives in more or less obvious and unique ways, Victorya is blessed with that special sense of recognition that enables her to see His hand as He is doing it.  Most of us are not attuned or observant enough to see His story... shame on us!  How much richer our Christian lives and our testimonies would be if we practiced what Victorya does and developed a significant ability to be conscious of the times the Lord is directing something exciting and unique in our own circumstances. - Gail Stewart, USAF veteran; retired from Mocksville Police Department, Mocksville, NC; Gordon Stewart, USAF retired; former administrator of The Julian Center, Julian, CA

The collection of Victorya’s God experiences is heartwarming and touching. I learned a number of things: God is still in the business of miracles; we can trust Him because He is a faithful and loving God; we know He will hear us and He will answer our prayers. His grace and mercy give us hope and we are blessed beyond measure.  Thanks, my friend, for sharing your stories.  - Genie Summers, retired kindergarten teacher, friend, sister in Christ

Victorya “Vickie” Wright navigates life as a God-follower with intrepid faith, recognizing that God orchestrates every personal and unique circumstance of her life whether good, bad, or hard. A random encounter in an obscure café in Europe, for example, turns out to be a divine appointment, a special God-story. Her stories are amazing, but true. If you’ve ever wanted to be more aware of how God is directing every detail of life, read this book. It will open your eyes to see God at work authoring your own God-stories. - Gwen Counts, long-time friend and fellow God-follower; Director, Coastal Carolina Center for Women’s Ministries

As a mother, grandmother, and educator in early childhood education, I have found that sharing our narratives is an important way of expressing our identity in Christ. To the cherished readers of Victorya’s remarkable book, detailing her encounters with God, I hope you find encouragement in the vastness of our Heavenly Father’s presence in every situation. May He bring unexpected joy into your journey with Him. God is always purposeful in leading us to extraordinary moments of divine appointment. - Sydney Burris, Sister in Christ and friend

This book is a must-read whether you question your faith, or your relationship with God is strong. Victorya’s God stories are a testament that there is always a plan, even if we cannot see it, are lost searching for answers, or think we have it all figured out. God will lead you exactly to where you need to go. For me it was meeting Victorya 8.5 years ago [2016] on a beach! Her testimonies turned my own “coincidences” into God guided paths and I hope they do the same for those who read this book! - Taylor Scott, God Story Participant, Bonus Daughter, Lifelong seeker of God

Victorya has been in my life for almost 40 years. We have lived life together as young homeschool moms, survived through parenting teens, children getting married and we now continue and as true Doppelgänger friends. I can attest to the true life stories in Victorya’s book, God Stories. It has inspired me to search and be aware of how God shows up in everyday life. I have discovered my own God stories, that I would not have been aware of before reading her book. After hearing her God stories over the years, I was glad to see them come to print. She uses her real stories to tell how God has purpose in the little things, both the “accidental" things, and the big things that happen in our lives. You will see how much He shows up when you read through each story.
Victorya gives all of us encouragement to be aware of our own story and purpose that will ultimately bring us closer to our own relationship with God. We won’t be just living our daily life, unaware of the stories, but her stories will open our eyes to look and remember. - Dawn Todd, Wife, Mother of 4, Grandmother of 18, Owner of The Original Swab Company

“Brunei … where’s that?” While this might be a typical comment one hears, an initial trip to the little nation of Brunei Darussalam, with Victorya and her family in 1999, certainly put Brunei onto the map for them. And not just onto their map, but into their hearts. For 25 years now, Victorya has lived and breathed Brunei, albeit she has only actually visited the nation once …but that was enough, together with a timely relationship she has since developed with a Bruneian medical healthcare worker. Few have visited Brunei, even though it is an absolutely delightful place … a history born out of folklore, its capital city includes a 500 year-old village set right in the middle of the river, a skyline dotted with more golden domes than one can count, the largest royal palace in the world, local women who love to dress in the most colorful sarong kebaya, a local population who enjoy free education and healthcare and no income tax thanks to the nation’s rich reserves of oil and gas and the generous ruling Sultan, yet at the same time Brunei is a strictly Islamic nation. The wonderful thing is, God is writing HIS story in Brunei, too. Victorya and her family speak of the privilege of ‘getting in on what God is doing there.’ Brunei, however, is only one part of Victorya’s story … in fact, her life is full of God stories, and you will be excited to ‘get in on these’ as she shares them here. - Brian Newton, Missions Mobilizer with OMF International (retired)

I wish I had recorded the God Storys Victorya has told me over the years. Some of them have helped me to see God's sense of humor and made me laugh out loud. His God Storys are a deep expression of who Victorya is and her walk with the Lord. May you be blessed as much as I have been to hear these stories throughout the years. - Jacqueline Claudin, manicurist, friend, sister in Christ

Dear Victorya. Thanks for your message. We read the two chapters with much interest and respect. Your writing is fine, and your experiences described there are intriguing. We remember you as a friendly, generous, honest and positive-thinking lady. Now the book confirms our initial impression. Good luck with your future travels. - Gideon* and Neta Aran, *Dept. of Sociology & Anthropology, The Hebrew University, Jerusalem, Israel
